Schools
In the 2021/22 school year, the city of Bietigheim-Bissingen has five elementary schools, three of which are all-day elementary schools, as well as two community schools, two secondary schools offering all-day classes, two high schools with all-day classes, and two special needs schools.
All elementary schools in the city offer care before and after school as "Reliable Elementary Schools". You can find all information about the Reliable Elementary School and the registration forms here. The implementation and expansion of all-day programs will take place gradually.
The Sand Elementary School was the first all-day elementary school in the city. In the 2016/17 school year, the Hiller School Bietigheim started all-day operations and since 2018/19, the Schiller School in Bissingen has offered all-day as an option. The Ellental High Schools have offered an open all-day program since 2013/14. Furthermore, the Aurain Secondary School offer all-day operations since 2014/15 and the Bissingen Secondary School since 2015/16. The two community schools, Schule im Sand and Waldschule Bissingen, are also all-day schools.
